PLUTO IS NO LONGER A PLANET.
Can you believe that? I can't. I still remember memorizing the nine planets back in grade school. My method was the My Very Eager Mother Just Sent Us Nine Papayas code, and it worked for me. I still remember my teacher telling us about the planets, and Pluto was my favorite. It was the smallest, farthest, coldest,most uninhabitable.. But my point is that she made us memorize it, because the Universe had NINE planets, and we were just supposed to accept that as a fact. And now here they go announcing that its not a planet blah blah.. What's next? The sun isn't a star? (It's a star, right?) It's just weird how even the things we take things as a fact, things we don't contest or ever question become wrong, and it makes me wonder what else in my life or in this world is actually just a lie.. Maybe everything is just a lie? Pluto isn't a planet.. hey guess what I'm actually not a human being, I'm an alien pretending to be human waiting for the right time to go all Independence Day and shit! We are just an evolved version of apes and come a century expect a mutated and more advanced version of humans to come along. Can you imagine a thousand years from now, people (if thats what they are) finding our fossilized bodies and studying us the way we did to Lucy? Sigh. Whoever said we were the most superior creatures on earth anyway? If anything, we are simply the animals that reproduce the most, and yes this is true (I saw this on Discovery Chanel), humans spawn more humans that rats do rats. I hope they take it back and say its a planet.
All I'm trying to say is its just so human of us to do this. Some wise guy tells us that Pluto is a planet, we believe it, and he was just lying, or maybe he was never certain but he made us think he was so we believed him. So who's stupid? Him for making us believe a lie, or us for believing it? Its just like a guy saying he loves you and you believing him and he was just lying (and now everyone reading this is going, aha eto lang pala gusto niya sabihin, tungkol lang pala sa lalaki..haha). There. PEOPLE SHOULD JUST STOP LYING OR MAKING PEOPLE BELIEVE THINGS. hahaha. I'm not saying I never lied, but why don't we as a human race, try being truthful once and for all?

On a different note, my course is getting harder and harder....waaa... So many therapy techniques, how am I supposed to apply that? Fine I know the theoreticals, but when there's actually a patient (or a teacher acting as a patient) involved..blank.. Gawd. I'm scared, people pay a lot to speak properly or to speak at all and they expect results and I'm responsible for that and I can't even plan a good therapy program or do a good assessment because it freaks me out to know that they're depending on me. Haay. What more pa sa internship? I can feel the real world coming already. We're just a few sems away from graduating (hopefully) and there you go. patients, patients, patients. Pero kaya yan, I know that every job has its hardships, I chose this path, and I must follow through..

It's all about timing isn't it? I really think that the people we end up marrying are those who happen to be with you, in a relationship, at a time where everything is perfect, like with your age and security and all that. Your first love doesn't necessarily mean that he/she wasn't your true love, it'S just that that you were both young and stupid, and its kinda impossible to stay commited for that long at that age, when you both still had stuff to learn. So whoever you meet, like lets say, at 25, is most probably the one you'll end up with. So where's the romance in that? I'd like to think that God plans it, He plans everything, like who and when you'll meet someone, and eventually He will tell you why. So don't worry, just trust His plan. "Someday someone will walk into you life, and make you realize why it never worked out with anyone else.." :)
it's true though, right? but to add to that, i honestly believe that the world IS too big, and we may not find THE one, but we will find someone. the someone who makes us happy and all that, the someone that you actually wanna be with.. and its up to us to see what we will do with it.. but like everything else in the world, what i hate most is that love is just temporary, and sometimes people start giving up, and they don't see what they're losing, not till its gone anyway.
for most people next week is the last week of summer na :( so its all back to reality, and back to all the hassles of studying, and everything. and no, time won't be on my side anymore, but one thing good about me is that im a pretty optimistic person, and i like seeing the good in people..and i dont give up unless i see that its pointless already, and when i do give up, my friends are the ones who push me to come back. (like how i almost dropped anatomy na tlga, and i ddnt coz my friends said i could still pass.. and i did. shit. one year delayed na sana ako if i went through with that..) so yun.. someone told me a long long time ago, "Kahit mahirap, as long as he thinks you're worth fighting for.." It's just like how the prince did everything to get Aurora in Sleeping Beauty. I mean seriously, all that obstacles just to get a girl he's never even spoken to? haha. So this is it i guess. Am i worth it? But whatever the decision is, I respect that. and another thing about me, is that I don't regret anything, coz everything I do is a conscious decision and it makes me who I am, and it helps me be stronger in the end.
This has been a great summer, maybe my best so far, and I thank everyone who was part of it.. mwaaaaaah :)

Soooo my brother had a car accident today, coz on the way home, while driving drunk, he fell asleep and slammed into a jeep. He's okay, thank goodness, but well, his car is a goner. It's just amazing that he didn't get hurt. God must really answer prayers. Now I will definitely not take for granted my nightly ritual of praying for the safety of all my loved ones. I love you Rob!! I'm glad you're okay.
But honestly, guys.. what will it take for everyone to learn na you shouldn't drink and drive? Does someone have to die pa? Just please, I don't wanna go through this again, and I don't want any family to experience what we did a while ago.

Haha. What an experience. I went to the tattoo and piercing place with my cousin jamie and pau, and after interviewing the dude for like an hour..
1. Does it hurt? for how long?

Finally, I agreed.. so I stood up, held my friend's hand, closed my eyes and hoped for the best. It took about 15 seconds. To those who don't want details, stop reading here. The dude clamped the skin on my belly and pulled it, and with a sterilized needle.. yun..tinusok! and then he put the ring and closed it. IT HURT. My knees and hands were shaking and afer that I just lost it. I almost fainted. haha. I had to sit down and drink water and face the fan for like 15 mins just so the blood could rush back to me. But after all that, the pain just disappears. and I'm okay now. :)

Eek! Tomorrow I plan on having my belly pierced.. I am sooo scared. Haha. After fighting for this for years, and finally being allowed, I get second thoughts right at the last minute. But I'll push through with it, if only so that I can prove to my parents that no one dies from a belly pierce. My friends who've done it already all claim it doesn't hurt once its there, it only hurts while their putting it in. And there's only little maintenance involved. Hay. It's quite expensive, and I'm paying for it myself, but its all good. Hay. Hay. I will let you know how it goes. EEk. :)

I think we do. Don't get me wrong though. He didn't do anything wrong, I was the one who screwed things up. But I guess I thought it wouldn't turn out this way. But it did. So there you go. That's life.

Today I made a paper model of the Larynx. Tomorrow Mau and I are making one out of clay. Yep, that's right. We're saving the world one Larynx at a time.
In 75 years, our natural resources will be depleted. That would make me around 89. Buhay pa kaya ako nun? This is very sad. But fear not, man will figure something out. This is something to think about though. We should really start conserving energy, water, oil..etc. This is my way of helping out. Spreading the information to my lj readers (which sadly, are probably around 10 give or take). It's better than nothing though. haha.
